2011 Camp Information

Elementary Camp Entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Dates: Wednesday, June 1st Thursday, June 2nd Cost: $25 includes a Bloomington North Basketball T-shirt	Middle School/Freshmen Camp Entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade Time: 4:00-6:00 p.m. Dates: Monday through Thursday May 23rd - May 26th Cost: $50 includes a Bloomington North Basketball T-shirt

Location: Both gyms at BHSN will be used.

Camp Directors: The Bloomington High School North Basketball Staff and current players will direct the camps.

Elementary Camp
The Elementary Camp for incoming 3rd-6th grade players will focus on skill development and the establishment of good fundamentals that will prepare them to be sound basketball players in the future. Items of focus will include defense, shooting, ball handling, and passing techniques.

Middle School Camp
The Middle School/Freshmen Camp for the incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade players will focus on individual skill development through varsity drills. The players will also be introduced to North’s offenses and defenses, which will better prepare each player for their future at the high school level. Top 9th grade players will be selected to compete on the North travel team which practices and plays tournaments in the month of June and July.
